Tamar Berman is a vocalist and certified teacher, with many years of teaching experience. At Ravinia Tutors, Tamar teaches voice, piano, music theory, music technology, Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, and mathematics. She holds a PhD in music from Northwestern University, and a music educator license from the State of Illinois.
Gidon Berman has taught many courses in software, languages, and social sciences. He holds an MPP from the University of Chicago, an MA in Geography and Environmental Development from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and a Six Sigma Green Belt from the American Society for Quality. Gidon currently works in IT, markets free international high school, and leads two nonprofits. He teaches Hebrew, Dutch and technology at Ravinia Tutors.
